Vibrant Overlay Effect

In this tutorial we will turn this gorgeous picture of Jessica Alba and create a vibrant overlay effect. You will be learning blending modes and much more along the way...

So for this I'm going to start out with a pic of the gorgeous Jessica Alba.



Now duplicate your layer with CTRL+J.



After that go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and change the setting to 10px radius. Then change the layerstyle to Overlay.

Now the result should look something like this.
